King Marine Custom 33

This unique 10m yacht was built in 2015 by designer and yacht master Chris King specifically to undertake a circumnavigation of the globe. She was built with high regard to safety, performance and comfort and little regard to cost.

She offers fast, economical safe passage-making combined with a luxury fit out, is easy to sail single-handed and is extremely stable. Her 10 metre length is a bonus when cruising overseas – marina fees are minimised.

On her maiden venture ‘Angel’s Dance’ covered 10,000 kms from Fremantle to Cocos Islands, the Andaman Sea, Sumatra, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand before her owner sustained an injury that prevented him from continuing.

She is an extraordinary yacht and is in her element when sailing offshore. In 60 knot winds and 12m seas she has registered an incredible 18.6 knots whilst in calm water she is capable of 7 knots.

She has back-up systems in most areas including fuel and water tanks, pumps and nav aids. Removable long-distance fuel tanks, custom jib bags for the foredeck for a quick neat changeover of headsails and a Pentex sail inventory that cost over $60,000.

There are too many features to describe here and the owner has a large amount of additional equipment in storage (inventory available upon inspection. )
